HAMPTON- scientists with Langley Research Center of NASA are operating for more precise weather predictions, many credits to the clouds.

It is part of the initial field campaign of NASA to gather far-reaching clouds data in a single area.

It is referred to as ACTIVATE standing for Aerosol Cloud Meteorology Interactions over the Western Atlantic Experiment.

Langley of NASA will launch two spaceships simultaneously for three years to gather scientific information to assist in better understanding our weather patterns and atmosphere.

Armin Sorooshian, who is the NASA ACTIVATE operation principal investigator, stated that one of the genuinely crucial things done by clouds is that they affect the energy balance of Earth, resulting in the cooling and the heating amount we get.

Jonathan Hair, who is the project scientist, stated that having the plane out there provides them with data sets that they could operate with much more detailed measurements set.

They have a minute time window, which they could make measurements, and due to this, they have to ensure that everything is operating simultaneously and ensure that they are putting the craft in the correct place to get the science they require. 

This project is dated five years old. The initial year was for the preparation of the program. They are precisely at the center of the three years they will be used to pilot the aircraft.
