On the second day of pony hustling season at Santa Anita Park, track authorities affirmed another steed was euthanized at the recreation center Saturday after it wound up harmed in a mishap. Emtech, a 3-year-old foal, was euthanized subsequent to seeming to break his left front leg and colliding with the earth in the eighth race, CBS Los Angeles reports.

Inside the recreation center, authorities said they would work intimately with state authorities to attempt to make sense of what turned out badly.
Emtech will experience a necropsy at the School of Veterinary Medicine at University of California, Davis.
